MSNBC and Calamari Productions recently screened their latest co-production, "Young Kids, Hard Time," at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. More than 250 people, many of whom are prominent figures in the US Justice System, were in attendance. In addition to the screening, MSNBC and Calamari hosted a panel discussion which included the Honorable Brian Huff, presiding Juvenile Judge for Birmingham, Alabama; Miriam Aroni Krinsky, fmr. Federal Prosector; Dwayne Betts, who entered the adult prison system at the age of 16 and has recently published the memoir "A Question of Freedom;" Karen Grau, President of Calamari Productions; and Mike Dempsey, Executive Director of Youth Services at the Indiana Dept. of Corrections.
"Young Kids, Hard Time" premieres on MSNBC on Sunday, November 20th at 10 PM ET.
