Newly minted MSNBC weekend show host Melissa Harris-Perry recently sat down with Essence.com for their "5 Questions" feature. Tulane Professor Harris-Perry talked about her hopes for her new program and recently published book "Sister Citizen," how she became interested in politics at a very young age, the most important issues that she thinks will affect this year's presidential election, and the greatest lesson she's learned from her students during her time as a college professor.
