Politico's media writer Dylan Byers sat down for an extensive interview with MSNBC's Alex Wagner on what sets her daily show, "NOW with Alex Wagner," apart from other cable news shows out there. Among the differences is a lighter, more inclusive tone to the show, and a focus on bringing in voices from the media world in addition to the Beltway regulars and strategists.
Wagner told Politico that even though hers is one of the younger shows on MSNBC, “We’re proving ourselves as new kids on the block, showing that we are serious, that we work really hard, and that we care a lot about it.”
