MSNBC's Chris Matthews appeared in the New York Times Sunday Book Review analyzing the "majestic biography of America’s greatest and most beloved broadcast journalist," Walter Cronkite. Matthews' wrote that 'Cronkite' by Douglas Brinkley, "is evidence that a job can be done just about perfectly. That goes for the man and this exceptional biography."
