While many Americans gathered around turkeys and pumpkin pies this Thanksgiving weekend, MSNBC's Chris Jansing traveled to Malawi to report on Little Dresses for Africa. On November 23rd, Chris Jansing, host of Jansing & Co, joined NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams in the taping of a "Making the Difference" segment that will air in December.
The story features Little Dresses for Africa which is a non-profit organization aiding young girls in Central Africa. Little Dresses for Africa distributes donated dresses made from pillowcases to those that are in need of clothing.
In Malawi, Chris had the pleasure of spending time with some of the local children and even tried goat for breakfast!
